Introduction

Some time ago, I looked for some utility that allowed me to perform a fast sync, because I like to have my mobile's phonebook sync'd with my Palm's Address Book. I eventually found that Send Category of Address Book remains the best way to do it...

The reason why I wrote QuSync is that the Address Book does not allow to send only a range of records. In QuSync you can select only the records you want to send, apart from the category they belong.

Install

Set the name of a custom record of Address Book to 'QuSync'. QuSync will write a 'Y' in that field if the record has to be sent.

Known Issues

• Only custom fields from 1 to 4 are recognized by QuSync.
• Doesn't support big screens (like T3).
• Doesn't support navigation buttons or jog dial.

Other issues are related to my mobile (Sony Ericcson T68i): the phonebook entries replaced lose custom ring settings.

Compatibility

• Tested on Palm OS Emulator with Palm OS 3.5, 4.0, 5.0.
• Tested on Palm Tungsten T3 (Palm OS 5.2.1).
• I don't know if it works with Palm OS versions earlier than 3.5.
