FontParade 1.1.1

I've released a minor update to FontParade. I've simply fixed a bug, thanks to error reporting from Bruce.

Several users contacted me about some errors they got, but only few of them could tell me when or how the error occurred and could send me the console logs. I know that, for general users, it can be difficult, but they should know that it's impossible to debug an error when the only thing they say is: Hi, I get an error every time I try to print the list of my fonts. What could be?

If you are among them, please try this new version and if you get any error, feel free to contact me and try to send a detailed report.

FontParade

HI,

WOW.. I have downloaded many programs like this one for our Agency, paid for several but non worked! This one worked and printed without any errors all 5083 fonts in our library! of course 156 pages but who cares! You should have a shareware pricing for this! It works better than any on the market today!

FontParade mac intel

Hello,
I am French and I speak English very badly. For this message, I use the translator of the mac. I have a iMac intel.
I tried to use your software Font Parade 1.1.1 but it refuses to print more than 30 fonts. Would your software have a bug with mac intel ?
Thank you for your answer,
Philippe.

Font Parade crashes on launch under OS X 10.2.8

Font Parade crashes on launch under OS X 10.2.8. This is almost certainly due to a common problem affecting many applications that are supposed to be compatible with OS X 10.2.x (Jaguar) but in fact are not.

I've finally found a succinct explanation of the problem in the readme file's Version History for another font tool, coincidentally enough (since the problem is found in all kinds of apps, not just font ones), namely Font Finagler:

"Fixed the immediate crash upon launch that may have affected some users of OS X 10.2.x. (This appears to be a bug [correction: feature of gcc 4.0] in Xcode 2.0 which causes all compiled applications to be unnecessarily linked against the /usr/lib/libmx.A.dylib dynamic library, a library which exists in Panther and Tiger, but does not exist in Jaguar; the result in Jaguar is an immediate crash when the library cannot be found)."

Couldn't get this to work

Couldn't get this to work with 10.5 leopard. Shame because it looks very nice.

I'll update FontParade...

...to support Leopard, as soon as possible.

Thank you.

Font Parade

Have been touting Font Parade for a couple of years to my Mac Classes. Will it work in Leopard?
